I have always loved creating but taking a career break to care for a family member gave me the opportunity to get back in touch with past creative activities. I found getting lost in the activity of designing and creating energised me and lifted my mood and I discovered my designs made other people smile as well. People began to ask me to make items for them, which lead to my selling at craft fairs and I am now a regular contributor at Wells Country Market in Somerset.

My workspace is an attic room which is smoke free and full of bright colourful felt, vibrant fabrics and yarns, ribbons, buttons and beads. The view from the window overlooks an orchard with bee hives and views of Glastonbury Tor, and it inspires me every day!

Each doll is unique and is hand sewn, hand painted and embroidered by me with great care. No two dolls are ever exactly the same and I love seeing each dolls personality emerge as they are created. Dolls are made from tea stained cotton, hand sewn and their faces are painted using nontoxic acrylic paint and also embroidered.

Using wool felt, I create colourful hares, a range of fragrant felt lavender bags, vibrant and colourful wool felt blend cushions, cards that are hand cut, hand sewn, embroidered and embellished with beads and buttons as well as hand-decorated tote shopping bags.
